"Yukikabuto" (雪兜) is named after the legend that a white fox appeared and drew lines of "Kabuto" (兜), Samurai helmet, on "Yuki" (雪), snow land, which became landscape lines of Nagaoka castle city.
Yukikabuto Gold is Jumai Daiginjo with a fruity aroma of green apples creates a taste of unparalleled elegance. This Junmai Daigijo is very easy to drink due to it’s unique balance of aroma and taste.
Almost all of Takahashi Shuzo's sake are consumed locally in Niigata. Yukikabuto is so-called "Kakushi sake" (隠し酒), secret sake or hermit, due to its truly limited numbers of distributors and difficulty to be found.
