Overview Hakuro Shuzo has its roots of sake brewery since 1751. Hakuro Shuzo brand and its logo mark are based on "Mitsugasiwa", family emblem of Makino family. Hakuro Shuzo has its great mission that "Brewing good SAKE to make people feel satisfied".


Honke Matsuura Shuzojo


Naruto-Shi, Tokushima Pref.

Overview Honke Matsuura Brewery has a history of over 200 years as Tokushima's oldest distillery and produces "Narutota" and "Sudachi-shu" brands. It is well know in the US market for its "Narutotai" brand.


Imayo Tsukasa Shuzo

HQ Chuo-Ku, Niigata Pref. 
Est. 1767
Overview Imayo Tsukasa means "Master of the Time" in Japanese. It has  its roots of sake brewery since 1797 and has its mission to connect past and present as a master of the time as well as being a leader of the current generation.



Kita Shuzo

HQ Higashi-Ohmi, Shiga Pref. 
Est. 1718
In 1820, Ginzaemon Kita started our brewery in Koto plain, Ohmi. Ginzaemon used to buy the Ohmi-brand rice from local farmers, brew sake and did business in the neighborhood. Our brand name was “Temmaya” at the time. Since then, the Kita family has been brewing sake for more than 200 years. Its brand name “Kirakucho” has a meaning of wishing our customers to enjoy the sake and and live a long life.

Nakagawa Shuzo


Nagaoka-Shi, Niigata Pref.

Overview Nakagawa Shuzo started since 1888 after succeeding the former sake brewery. It has its mission that "Sake brewing loved by locals". Actually 80% its products are shipped within Niigata region. 

Noguchi Naohiko Sake Institute

HQ Komatsu-shi, Ishikawa Pref.

Mr. Naohiko Noguchi (87) is so-called "The God of Sake" as a living legendary sake brewing meister and came back to sake industry again in 2017 since his retirement in 2012. In 2008, he got "Ohjyuhoushu", a Metal with Yellow Ribbon from Japan government for his distinguished achievement as a sake meister.  

Sasaiwai Shuzo

The current Sasaiwai family is 5th generation since its establishment of brewery in 1899. It focuses on a high quality of sake by improving its sake making with greatest efforts. Their sake has its reputation as "the local sake among locals".


Takahashi Shuzo

HQ Nagaoka-shi, Niigata Pref.
Est. c. 1854

Takahashi Shuzo's brewery and hexagonal chimney were built in 1922 and registered as tangible cultural property of Japan in 2007. Takahashi Shuzo has its sprit of going own way to brew their only-one sake.  


Yoshinotomo Shuzo

HQ Toyama-shi, Toyama Pref.
Est. 1877

"Yoshinotomo" means friends of Yoshida family, which represents their philosophy to enjoy delicious sake with good friends. In order to make delicious sake, Yoshinotomo is an early adaptor to brew Junmai sake since around '60 and nowadays all its sake are 100% Junmai sake, which indicates their highly professional craftsmanship to pursue their taste of sake.
