"Yukikabuto" (雪兜) is named after the legend that a white fox appeared and drew lines of "Kabuto" (兜), Samurai helmet, on "Yuki" (雪), snow land, which became landscape lines of Nagaoka castle city.
A fruity aroma, pleasant acidity and dry feeling spread widely in your mouth. This Junmai Ginjo is paired well with light taste dishes such as "Kisu" (鱚), sand borer, and other tempura.
Almost all of Takahashi Shuzo's sake are consumed locally in Niigata. Yukikabuto is so-called "Kakushi sake" (隠し酒), secret sake or hermit, due to its truly limited numbers of distributors and difficulty to be found. Please enjoy this extremely rare opportunity to experience very local sake from Niigata.
