Mt. Fuji Edo Kiriko sake cup is a masterpiece of handmade craftwork collaborated by Floyd (design studio etc.) and Edo Kiriko Kobo (craft maker). "Edo Kiriko" (江戸切子) has started its history around the end of Edo era (Tokugawa) (徳川). Kiriko means glass cut. This is a traditional technique of cutting glass which was never seen in any other countries in the world. Since then, its technique has been succeeded over 150 years to the current generation with a Japanese craftsmanship.

Mt. Fuji sake cup is designed with precise cuts to create this sharp but also warm feelings with a dynamic and sounded shape of Mt. Fuji. Both blue and red colors represent Ao, blue, Fuji (青富士) (day time) and Aka, red, Fuji (赤富士) (evening time), respectively, with an image of snow on the top by carefully designed glass cuts.
