“Hanabi” (花火) means a firework in Japanese. Hanabi sparkling sake is named after Nagaoka's world best-in-class firework festival which is held in every August. Hakuro Shuzo, various award winning sake brewery, proudly brews Hanabi with a process of secondary fermentation in bottle, like that of champagne. It feels like Hanabi sparkling in your mouth, like champagne. Its fruity taste with sparkling texture fits very well for your toasting to begin with and also greatly matches with a sweet desert at the end, similar way to drink a desert wine. Please enjoy it after making it much chilled like you enjoy a champagne.
